Love & Hope

Pop star Tyler Hart is desperate for peace after a humiliating public scandal. It seems like Stanford Creek may well be the place to lay low. After all, it worked for his friends and former bandmates, Cody and Danny. He borrows a cabin and settles in for a quiet Christmas…well, not quite.
Garrett Campbell is on the run. Wounded in the line of duty, he escapes to the only place he feels safe, Stanford Creek and his brother’s cabin. Only he doesn’t realize he’ll have a roommate, and a sexy one at that.
Amid snow falls and winter winds, passion burns bright. When danger threatens to follow Garrett, he has to decide whether to run again before his secrets could kill him and the man of his dreams.
Review
Snow and Secrets is book three in Rozenn Scott’s Sanford Creek
series. Now, I have not read book 1 and 2 and I honestly have no idea if I’m
right but I think some secondary characters in 3 are in the other books. I also
think the other 2 are M/F books. Just a guess. I will say book three can be
read as a standalone absolutely. I am curious about some of the characters in
the other books and their stories. When the book opened and we were dealing
with a mishap with Ty I found myself wondering if I missed something and that
sort of lingered for a bit. So I may go back and read the other books.
Ty is in a band and he has a twin and they have a really
awesome relationship. Ty is a fidget-er and he has some anxiety and
when he needs a break he goes to a friend’s cabin. Simple enough right?
Well, Garrett is also using the cabin (since it’s his
brothers) as a place to heal and hide. Garrett’s life as a translator for SEALS
teams has brought him to a dark place and when he comes face to face with Ty
(his dream guy) it’s the best cure for him… for both of them.
I found both of these characters to be so sweet to each
other and stuck in their situations. Each a victim. Together they just made
sense and it was cute. Their time in the cabin is super-hot and sexy and their
glimpses of domesticity gave me the warm and fuzzies!
There’s a little suspense to this story and a lot of love
and acceptance and above all there’s a great support for both of these guys.
I liked this book and was entertained throughout! I have a
few questions that, like I said earlier, I feel the other books might have the
answers to so I'll be checking those out.

Ty is the
"gay" one in boy band, Hudson Hart. H2’s management is fine with
that; hell it’s a fantastic marketing ploy, and the fan girls are all over it,
matching him with any of the other members. Even Ty’s agent is okay with it,
marketing Ty as the soft, quiet cute gay one in the band, fulfilling a
stereotype alongside the loud one, the angsty one… and so on.
Bu when a sex tape is released; Ty being filmed in a compromising position in a club bathroom, the shit hits the fan. Label management never signed on to have a gay guy who actually had *sex*. Suddenly his agent is abandoning him, management is pulling the morality clause, and the media is all over him like a rash. Not only that but the paparazzi won’t leave him or his twin alone.
When his new agent suggests that he lays low for a while he’s over the moon to do that. He has friends in a sleepy town in Vermont, it’s coming up for Christmas, and one of his friends has a future brother-in-law with an isolated cabin in the woods.
Perfect.
Unfortunately someone else is there, hiding from the world and Ty falls in lust, and then love with the enigmatic forthright Garrett.
Ty has to come to terms with the idea of being someone he doesn’t want to be in the public eye. Can he slot into what society expects him to be?
