Synopsis

One moment Riley Murrough is living a normal life working in a coffee shop, and the next he’s running for his life from demons, learns he bears the mark of a shape-shifter king from a magical realm, and—worst of all—he’s destined to become the mated prince to the arrogant tiger shifter he would rather strangle.

Khalon, the shifter king, is equally distraught at the idea of being bound to a human prince, and along with his Soldati warriors, he sets out to return Riley to his own world where he belongs. On their journey they might discover why the priestess brought them together—if they can escape the demons and make it to her alive.

Review

And so a new series is born! The Soldati Prince was so much better than I thought it would be. I admit to being nervous at first. I wasn’t sure I’d like it but I am a huge Charlie Cochet fan so I was absolutely up for giving it a shot. So glad I did.

It opens with us meeting Riley having conflicted dessert feelings. It was in that first paragraph I knew I was going to love him. He’s feisty, hilarious, sweet, and kind.  He doesn’t take crap from anyone, even the Soldati King. Khalon, the shifter king is so not thrilled with the fact he’s mated with a human and he’s not secretive about it.  Their banter is epic. Oh how I laughed my butt of with the dialog! I love witty characters and Riley was totally one and Khalon is the grumpy alpha guy you want to thump on the head.

With demons trying to kill Riley and a journey to the High Priestess to undo this obvious mistake we’re taken on a wonderful journey. One of laughter, growing love, understanding, and outstanding bravery.

I absolutely adored this story. The secondary characters were just as wonderful as the MCs. The concept is brilliant and I can absolutely see that this series is going to be beyond words amazing!
This is a fantasy. It has magic and paranormal activity so if that and hilarious and entertaining characters is your thing than give this book a shot!
