Synopsis
After being dumped by his long-term boyfriend for being overweight, Henry Beckett decides to make some drastic changes. In a vain attempt at getting his boyfriend back, Henry does the most absurdly frightening thing he can think of.

Oh my word! I fell and I fell hard for this book. It was
recommended to me because I recently joined a gym and I am a monster about all
the pain and hard work it is. Well so is Henry! Henry is such an outstanding
character.
After his boyfriend leaves him for being old and fat (ouch)
he joins a gym. Where he meets Reed, his personal trainer. Reed is also
fabulous by the way!
So, we follow Henry through his life change and he is
comical. I laughed till I cried. His personality is the best and he quickly
wins Reed’s heart. But it’s more than just a book about getting fit and the
struggles you face while doing it. It’s about loving yourself and trusting
those who truly love you for who you are.
Reed and Henry are physically opposite but inside they are
more alike than Henry realizes. I loved their dynamic and the evolution. And I
really loved how the author deals with body shaming. How it’s not just the
overweight but even the “perfectly fit.” Or as I always referred to them as the
beautiful people. They get it too. It was quite interesting to see both
perspectives.
Dialog? Yeah that was totally brilliant not a single
complaint about dialog or character growth. Even the secondary characters were
amazing. I don’t think I have a single issue actually. This was a breath of
fresh air a really wonderful feel great book!
