Gideon squeezed his dick through his jeans and groaned. How the hell was he going to handle seeing Drago the next day? Gideon had been dying just thinking about him.

When he opened his eyes, he spotted a familiar face moving through the crowd. Sergeant Talon, in skintight jeans, a black tank top, and sporting a military haircut was walking straight for him. He was hotter than Gideon had ever seen him before. Gideon rose to his feet as he approached.

“Hey, Major,” Talon said, taking Gideon’s hand and pulling him into a hug. Talon smacked Gideon’s ass and stepped back to check him out. “You’re so fucking hot!”

Gideon’s face warmed. Talon was out of line, but it was what he’d grown to expect from him.

“Uh, okay…” Gideon said, stepping to the side in an attempt to put more distance between them, but Talon put his hand on the wall, preventing his retreat. Gideon furrowed his brow, wondering what kind of game he was playing. During their captivity, Talon had always taken liberties. When Stella said the first man to make Gideon come would get to fuck him, Talon had gone down on him like he’d meant it.

“You know, I heard you were returning to Fort Hood, and I was hoping I’d find you here,” Talon said, pushing Gideon’s back to the wall. Gideon opened his mouth to protest, but before he could say a word, Talon slid a hand down the front of Gideon’s jeans and grasped his erection.

“What the…?” Gideon’s protest was cut short when Talon’s hot lips pressed into his own. Gideon groaned into Talon’s mouth, but inside he was screaming. This was wrong! Talon was his soldier—he couldn’t let him do this. He tried to pull back, but Talon held him in place, jerking him harder and faster while deepening his kiss. Gideon felt his climax coming, and before he could collect his thoughts, his body flushed with heat and he came in Talon’s hand.

Gideon broke their embrace, struggling for breath while his body quaked. What the fuck was he doing? Everything had happened so quickly, yet he had no desire to push Talon away. He needed this. Talon’s rough hands on him, forcing him to his will.

Review

This is book 2 in J. Johanis’s Toy Soldiers series. It starts off with Gideon away learning High Dragon and Drago getting a mission for Gideon that could possibly kill him… no big right? LOL. When Drago Star (book 1) ended it didn’t really have much of a happy ending and it made me sad because I wanted Drago and Gideon together forever (I’m a sap) In this one we really get to see the magnitude of their feelings for each other and the sacrifices Drago actually makes for him. It was touching. As dark, erotic, and violent as things were there’s a love story here that is truly beautiful and fills you with so much hope.
I really do enjoy this series and look forward to more!!!

Character Interview – Drago

JJ: Thank you so much for agreeing to this interview. Before we begin, I just have to say that you look stunning. I love the gothic look and black eyeliner.

Drago: Thank you.

JJ: Well, to be honest Drago, I have too many questions for one session alone. So, I’m going to try to focus on the subject of love and courtship in dragon culture. I’ve heard that romantic love is contrary to dragon nature. If that’s true, what do dragons feel for each other?

Drago: Yes, you are correct in that regard. If a dragon is attracted to another, the feeling is what humans would equate to lust. It can be quite powerful, and mating among dragons can be violent at times.

JJ: So, if this attraction is purely carnal, how does that work in dragon society? Do dragons get married?

Drago: *smiles* We have life partners, but they are rarely exclusive.

JJ: So, you’re telling me in the three hundred years you’ve been alive, you’ve never been in love?

Drago: Maybe I’ve been in lust, but never love.

JJ: Interesting. Well, can you tell me how common it is for dragons to have sexual relations with humans?

Drago: Since dragons are first and foremost predators, we’re quite fond of taking a human play thing. However, the challenge of fucking another dragon is extremely intoxicating. As I mentioned before, mating can get quite violent.

JJ: I’ve heard rumors about the violent struggle for domination among male dragons. If you don’t mind sharing, I would like to hear more about how it is to grow up among dragons.

Drago: Well, to put it bluntly, it’s bloody. Young male dragons are in constant danger from older dragons who consider them a threat. They are quite often enslaved, raped repeatedly, then tortured to death. In dragon society, it’s all about survival of the fittest, and very few male dragons make it past adolescence.

JJ: That sounds pretty harsh. You grew up among dragons, how did you manage to avoid the same fate?

Drago: I didn’t avoid it completely. I wasn’t the biggest and strongest dragon, but I’ve always been a natural leader. This is how I survived and prevailed.

JJ: I can’t even imagine what you went through. Someday when we have more time, I’d love to hear your story.

Drago: *winks* I’m sure we’ll talk again.

JJ: I should hope so. Thank you again for coming.

Drago: It was my pleasure.
