Interview Fun With: EM Denning

More interview fun today with author EM Denning. She's answering some fun questions and promoting her latest release Lust & Longing! Check it out.

1.      If you could live anywhere else in the world other than where you live, where would it be? Probably Scotland. It doesn’t get too hot there. I can deal with rain and stuff, but heat is a no go.
2.      Cake or brownies? Brownies. Yes. Definitely brownies.
3.      Would you rather be able to read the minds of babies or the minds of animals?  Animals. I think it would be far more interesting.
4.      What is the last book you read? I read Where The Devil Says Goodnight by KA Merikan and holy crap it was so freaking good.
5.      What are three things that make you happy? Silent mornings with a cup of coffee. Music on repeat. Warm socks fresh from the dryer.
6.      How many cups of coffee do you drink in a day? One or two. Hardly ever do I have more than that.
7.      Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? Nope. And most of the time I don’t even remember my dreams.
8.      What is your favorite type of muffin? S’mores
9.      What is the idea of a perfect day for you? A day with 0 obligations, 0 responsibilities, and a few really good books.
10.  What is a movie you’ve seen you think everyone should see? Mrs Winterbourne. Rikki Lake. Brendan Fraser. So funny.

Twenty years ago, Noah fell in love with his best friend, Ian Osborn.
Love is a messy and complicated emotion. First love especially.
Unfortunately for Noah Davis, it doesn’t get easier as he gets older.
Noah lost Ian years ago, when life took them in different directions. Not knowing how to let go, he relied on the friends he made while living in the city. His friends helped pull him out of his despair, but it was at a club where he found himself.
He threw himself into his new identity. Being a Dom gave him the control he desperately needed and helped him put the pieces of himself back together.
But time changes things. Noah left the club scene behind years ago. He’s back home in Silver Springs and suddenly Ian Osborn, the one who got away, is there, too.
Love isn’t easier the second time around. Noah and Ian must reconcile who they used to be with the men they are now, and it won’t be easy, but nothing worth having ever is.

Interview Fun with Annabella Michaels

We continue on with our new segment of Interview Fun and we have Annabella Michaels with us today! She's an amazing author and I LOVE her answers to this interview. Check out her latest book Maddie (info below) and be sure to check out her links. Enjoy!!!

1.       Would you rather text or talk on the phone? Text. I can text someone easily when I’m busy, but I don’t always have time to talk.

2.       Favorite day of the week and why? Friday. I get a sense of accomplishment from everything I’ve done that week and I get to look forward to time with my family.

3.       What is the last song you listened to? Deep Water by American Authors. It sparked a total plot bunny. I love it when that happens.

4.       In your opinion, is it wrong for a vegetarian to eat animal crackers? Hahaha! I have great respect for vegetarians. I could never be disciplined enough. I love steak and bacon too much. But if I had to be a vegetarian, I’d definitely need to have treats in other ways…like animal crackers. As long as they’re the iced ones. No one should suffer through those plain, dry ones. It’s just cruel.

5.       Would you rather have the power of invisibility or super strength? Oooooh! I would LOVE to be invisible. There’s someone I would love to torment. Hahaha!

6.       If there was anywhere in the world you could be right now where would you be? On a beach with my family and closest friends.

7.       What is your alcoholic beverage of choice? Moonshine. My favorites are butter cake and butter pecan cream that we get when we visit Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They go down VERY smooth, which often leads to trouble. LOL

8.       If you had to choose: NSYNC or the Backstreet Boys? Oh, thank you for not making me choose between NKOTB and NSYNC. In this case, NSYNC all the way.

9.       If you could bring back one fashion from the ‘80s what would it be? Colorful jellies. They were cheap so my mom didn’t mind buying them for me and I’d mix and match, a different color on each foot.

10.   Last book you read that was a 5 star? Jaclyn Osborn let me beta His Surrender and it was sooooo good! I love that series.

After witnessing firsthand just how dirty and underhanded a life in politics can be, Maddie Vanderhorne steps off the campaign trail to follow his passion. Starting his own event planning business is the best decision Maddie’s ever made, quickly winning over his clients with his vibrant and outgoing personality. That is, until he finds himself working alongside one very serious and seemingly impenetrable man.

Still haunted by the events of his past, Graham Ward has closed himself off from nearly everyone around him. He’s learned the hard way that letting people get too close only ends in heartache and disaster. Burying himself in his work and keeping everyone at a distance seems like the best solution. When his father comes to him with plans to announce his retirement, Graham knows that in order to take over his father’s role as head of the company, he must find a way to open himself up again.

When Graham steps up to host his father’s retirement party, the last thing he expects is the party planner to leave him feeling annoyed and perplexed. He’s never met anyone as vivacious and full of life as Maddie. He’s not quite sure how to respond to the boundless energy this man possesses - or the feelings Maddie seems to be resurrecting within him. Forced to work closely on this event, Maddie is determined to pull Graham out of his shell. But will opening himself up help Graham rediscover the man he once was; or will it leave him vulnerable to having his heart broken once again?

**This book is part of the Hamilton’s Heroes world but can be read as a standalone novel.

About the Author

I am married to my high school sweetheart who let's face it, is a saint for putting up with me all of these years. Together we have been blessed with the chance to raise two amazing human beings and so far we haven't screwed it up; I'll let you know for sure later. I am a business owner and spend more time laughing than actually working most days. I love watching movies, cooking, going to the beach and spending time with my family and best friends. I am an obsessive reader who is a complete sucker for a good love story, but loves to feel a broad range of emotions throughout a book. I think real life is hard enough and so my books offer twists and turns, but always with a happy ending.
