Josh has a plan: get through uni with a good degree and no debts. Focused on his goals, he’s working as an escort to pay his way. He enjoys the no-strings sex and doesn’t have the time or inclination for a relationship. Falling in love definitely isn’t part of the deal—especially not with a client.
When Rupert meets Josh in a bar, he’s smitten on sight. He’s never paid for sex before, but when Josh propositions him, he can’t resist. He should have known one night would never be enough. Luckily for him, he has an inheritance to support his addiction to Josh, because his job in IT wouldn’t cover the cost.
With each appointment the lines get increasingly blurred. Something is developing between them that feels more like a relationship than a business transaction, but they come from different worlds and to go from client-and-escort to lovers seems impossible. If they want a future together, Josh and Rupert have a lot to overcome.

This book is a complete story and can be read as a standalone.

I think I liked book 2 more than book 1. I know, I’m shocked too! When we met Josh in Helping Hand I knew there was a story there and I’m thrilled this is his tale!

I didn’t know the secret Josh was hiding but when we find out, it all made sense. Josh’s character is admirably independent, gorgeous, brilliant, and fierce. He’s beyond driven and all these qualities make him into a catch! It’s no wonder Rupert falls for him.

Ahh Rupert. When we first meet him there’s a shyness about him. But when he’s one on one with Josh in the sheets, there’s a dominant side to him and it’s hot! Rupert is dealing with a lot. His mom’s marriage to a stiff homophobe, loneliness, and of course falling in love.

This book is told in duel POV’s. We get inside both Rupert and Josh’s head and in this case it was important! I’m so glad we got to ride this out with both of them. I don’t think the story could have been told right otherwise.

Another winner for Jay. Super romantic, fun, and swoon worthy!

  1. I keep meaning to read these books and forgetting! Or... well... not having time. Ah life. This makes me want to make time though.

  2. Who amongst us couldn't use an amazon gift card!

  3. I agree. As much as I liked Helping Hand, I thought book 2 was even better. I would have liked to know more of Josh's background/relationship with his father though. I am lloking forward to book 3.
