What happens when two people who loathe each other, have to live together and act as though they are madly in love?

REVIEW
Richard
is such a jerk! I want to use a stronger word but I'll be a lady. And
yes, he is. But that is just the first reaction. He gets a lot worse
before he gets better. He's rich, gorgeous, wants for nothing... except
to get the position at his current job that I'd bet money on he'd murder
for. Now, I admit I wished him many burns on many parts of his body for
how he treated his assistant, Katherine. Oh Katy... We'll get to her in
a moment. But what you find out about Richard throughout this story is
utterly heartbreaking. What you see isn't who he truly is. Of course,
that's even a secret to him. It takes a miracle... or a Katy.... to help
him see that.
Katy is a saint. No really... I think if there was a fictional sainthood committee she should be recognized. Of course she too has an equally, yet different, horrific past. When these two have to work together to make "dreams" come true, that's when it gets interesting and revealing.
I went through a million emotions through this book. It started with anger and hate and ended in love and joy.
Melanie Moreland has written one of the best books I've read this year and I shouldn't be surprised. She's an outstanding writer who nails it every time!
