Blurb:
While new couple Tide and Lance spend time deepening their relationship and further introducing Lance to the joys and vagaries of being a sub, established couple Tyrone and Bran discover that they still have a thing or two to learn as well.

A new job finds Bran run off his feet, and a visit to the eye doctor leads to the discovery of a brain tumor. Bran is terrified. He strives to be the perfect sub for his beautiful master and sees the tumor as a personal failing as he tries to handle every last phone call, e-mail, and text that comes in, no matter how early or late. When Tyrone finally finds out about the tumor Bran’s been keeping a secret, he realizes he’s been taking his sub for granted, and he works to rediscover his boy and their relationship. Of course, that’s easier said than done given that Bran’s job is taking up all his time and he would rather pretend the tumor just doesn’t exist than actually deal with it.

It's going to take all of Tyrone's prowess as a master to help guide Bran through these troubled waters.

 Review

When you read a Sean Michael book you always know there’s going to be some serious steamy sex! It’s a guarantee! And Sean is quite creative with the sex. You kind of have to be when there’s so much of it. I did find there was a bit too much in this book. Normally I love it in Sean Michael’s books. I felt with the situation what it was with Bran and his health issue and the fragility of his relationship with his Dom Tyrone, some of the sex was misplaced. Like it was sex for the sake of sex and it just sort of didn’t fit for me. But that is really my only problem. The characters are fabulous! Tide and Landon are as perfect as ever for each other. I love how they complement each other in all aspects of their relationship. Tide’s constant building of Landon’s ego is breathtaking and it always makes me smile.

Sex is very hot and as I said before, creative. Sean knows how to right the lusty parts very well. This is a BDSM story and it’s got very serious situations within the tale. Tyrone and Bran’s relationship is established and showing how stability can fracture and crumble and in the end rebuild is really wonderful. Commitment, marriage, whatever you do to solidify your relationship doesn’t mean it’s always happily ever after and in The Perfect Sub, Sean shows that very well.

  1. I read Finley (Sunset Cove #1)by Ella Frank and just finished Enemies of the State (The Executive Office #1)by Tal Bauer. I am still processing that one so I can write my review. I usually don't like the political books but this one I couldn't put down!
