I’m so glad to be back at Diverse Readers to share a
day with the blog’s readers.
I’d like to talk about my upcoming release Snow Angels
with Bear, and the Love Off Leash series. If you’ve missed hearing about the
books, here’s what the series is about: Love dogs and smoking hot men? The Love
Off Leash series is for you. Different authors. Unrelated stories. Shared theme
of new love and pets.
Previous titles include Caring for Riggs, Hot Under
the Collar, and Chilling with Max. Below is a thumbnail blurb for each. For
something more in depth, check out the books at my web page.
Caring for Riggs. After years abroad, Kyle Shelton
returns to Chicago to plan his grandfather’s funeral. Weighed down by guilt
about neglecting the prickly old man who raised him, Kyle is determined to find
a good home for Gramps’s senior dog. The last thing he needs as he confronts
his complicated past is the distraction of the handsome next door neighbor
who’s been looking after Riggs.
Hot Under the Collar. Attorney Sam Trevisani never
though he’d play the bad guy, but now his job makes him the enemy of every dog
owner in town. Tired of playing for the wrong side, Sam seeks local
veterinarian Dan Bailey to help him find a solution. Will the vet give him the
brush—or something much more?
Chilling with Max. When workaholic real estate
developer Grant literally crashes into laid-back dog walker Max, it’s time to
let loose the hounds of change. Grant must learn to relax and Max to hold
steady and fight for something worthwhile.

Snow Angels with Bear is a winter story just in time
for the holiday season. Release date will be late November but I’m not sure of
the exact date yet.
An accident on an icy
road brings a stray into August Long’s life, forcing a meeting with a man who
invades his heart.
When a newcomer to the
area brings an injured dog to his clinic, veterinarian Eric Grover is intrigued
by tall, handsome and somewhat mysterious August Long. No one has the full
story on why the ex-army vet is in Hopewell Springs. Natural shyness makes it
difficult for Eric to get to know the stranger better. Luckily, the abandoned
German Shepherd August names Bear brings the two men together.
Settling into civilian
life after military service, August’s new job has brought him to northern
Michigan on the cusp of winter. He never intended to hook up with a local, but
gruff, taciturn Dr. Grover woos him with snowmobiling and cross country skiing.
The southern boy from Atlanta comes to appreciate cold weather and the big man
who lights his fire.
As the pair grows
closer, sharing deeply personal confidences turns dating into a relationship.
Even their dogs get along together. But August fears telling Eric what his job
entails and keeps a secret until the truth explodes their romantic bubble. For
two pride-filled men to patch things up may take a Christmas miracle—or the
intervention of two adorable mutts.
I hope you’ll check it
out. In the meantime, share your thoughts.

I used to consider myself mostly a cat person but I've changed over the years to Team Dog
DeleteI'm allergic to a lot of animals unfortunately. I current have fish, but someday I'd like to have a dog.
ReplyDeleteAww, that's too bad. A furry pet is a great thing to have around. But fish are pretty
DeleteNot really a fan of either but if I was forced to choose probably a cat. I do like owls though.
ReplyDeleteNever heard a response like that. That's different. Owls are beautiful creatures. so mysterious
DeleteI am a dog person!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind do you have?
DeleteI can't have pets where I live unfortunately, but I've owned golden retrievers and a black lab in the past.
DeleteI love Huskies too and would love to have one as part of my family someday.
DeleteI love both, but I think I'm more of a cat person. I both have a dog, Runa, and a cat, Lula... It is difficult to choose one, but I identify myself more with the idiosyncrasy of cats...
ReplyDeleteI definitely feel I'm more self contained like a cat. I used to think dogs were too needy and giving. Now I love that about my little Yorkies.

ReplyDeleteDooooogs! Have two Australian Cattle Dogs, Ruger & Kyra. There's a cat too - Elphaba - but never been a cat person. Wasn't like I could leave her out on her own as a kitten though, so she's been with since senior year of HS when I found her in the school parking lot.
ReplyDeleteI like cats and dogs but have had more cats we have Jenny now she is a tabby with a diva attitude.
ReplyDeleteI'm more of a rabbit person - they're secretly such sweet social creatures! I've also developed a fondness for chicken but you really have to have a huge back yard or farm for those.
ReplyDeleteI like both but I'm more of a dog person.
