Synopsis
Thorne proposed to Riley. Riley accepted.
Thorne thought that was that. They’d take a nice trip, get married, and spend a week luxuriating in a five-star hotel with occasional excursions to fabulous restaurants.
Riley imagined a traditional wedding with all the trappings. With all their friends and family. At Christmas.
Thorne concedes reluctantly, and a flurry of wedding planning ensues. At the same time, Thorne is wrestling with a recalcitrant client, and Riley and his business partner, Susan, are consumed with renovations and planning for the opening of their bakery. Stress on top of stress makes both Riley and Thorne doubt their relationship, and a major misunderstanding nearly silences the wedding bells.
By the time they reach their happily ever after, they’re both going to deserve all the romance they’ve been dreaming of.
Review
I’ve been following Thorne and Riley/Dash from the beginning. Each battling their own insecurities and finding that one person who understands all the things that run amuck in their heads. In Perfect Alignment, we are in, what looks to be, Thorne and Riley’s final stage. They are planning their wedding, Or I should say, Riley is and Thorne doesn’t want to have a huge ceremony. It’s a battle. It also reminds us how much these two both need to compromise and it felt like this was the last hurdle they had yet to overcome.
As all Silvia Violet’s book are in this series, it’s an extremely sexual book. When you consider how these two met to begin with you sort of understand why the center of it all is sex. Their sex is hot! VERY VERY HOT! Where sex can get repetitive and be overly vanilla, these guys are like a kaleidoscope of sexual fantasies come to life. I loved the passion these two had for each other it was refreshing and I choose to believe they will be like this forever.
This is a beautiful and emotional and sexy book. You have to read it in order. None of these are standalone. You will love these guys! Their evolution has been awesome to see.
The author created a sweet world and wrote fabulous characters to live in it! Loved it!
