Synopsis

Unprepared, ill-equipped, and with no example to look back on, Ty and Chase embarked on a journey to build a family for Ava and Luc that would far exceed anything they dreamed of for themselves. Two years later, they’ve succeeded beyond their wildest expectations, but there’s still a couple of things missing…and they’re ready to make them happen.

Bad boy biker Trick wouldn’t hesitate to fight for those he loves, but Ty knows it will take more than violence to win this war. Willfully submissive Chase has the utmost faith in his Master, but when he sees Ty struggling with demons from his past, it will be his quiet, unbending support that will see them through. Jumping through the loopholes of family court, they are only one event shy of making it all official and neither are willing to wait another second to check it off the list.

Clearing the path for adoption should reassure them, but it will take their cast of well-meaning friends and the occasional slap upside the head before they realize that the ties that bind them together are forged in a love that can never be taken away.

Review

Jessie G's Sizzling Miami and Devil's Pride MC series' are among my favorites. I always get so excited for each new release but I was extra excited for the Ty's That Bind novella because Ty and Chase are the couple I love most and their story is the one I'm most invested in. True fact--ALL of the couples in both series are fascinating and you'll love each one for their uniqueness but I can't help but love Ty and Chase the most. Their connection and devotion to one another is so intense and so deep that it's palpable. I will tell you that this is not a stand alone book. You have to have at least read book one, Tricking Chase in order to get the full picture of Ty's That Bind ... and appreciate it like you're supposed to.

In this book, we see what happens after the events of Tricking Chase and how Ty and Chase are adjusting to being brand new parents to Ava and Luc. Not only do both men have to try to deal with Family Court and the red tape of making Ava and Luc theirs permanently, but they must find a way to balance their power exchange dynamic as well. I've read a lot of BDSM books, but Ty is probably one of the strongest, most intense Master's I've ever read. Chase's devotion to him is soul deep, the trust they each have for one another is beyond Chase just trusting Ty with his body, but his mind and heart and reason for being as well. These two take my breath away, and it goes far, FAR deeper than just sexual. In fact there is very little sex in this book, but the scenes that ARE included are on fire hot and so, so intense.

One of my most favorite things about these two series is that all the characters are connected. They are a family by choice and are intertwined with each other. In Ty's That Bind we get to see a lot of Chris and Owen which was such a treat. Ty and Chase's private wedding ceremony was absolutely gorgeous and perfectly them and the adoption, when finalized, left me with tears in my eyes. Jessie G has given us a beautiful story of love and family and acceptance. I can't wait to see more of these guys, all of them, and anxiously await whatever comes next.

Excerpt

Sometimes it was hard to believe that Chase hadn’t always lived right there. Four years seemed like such a short time and yet, they’d come so far. Together, they’d built a foundation of trust and love, a family and a life that neither of them had ever allowed themselves to consider before. They were truly happy, which in itself was a miracle, and he intended to keep fortifying that emotion until his last breath.
Windblown hair tickled the underside of his jaw and Ty carded his fingers through it until he had a nice handful. A gentle tug had that blond head tilting back and Chase smiled up at him, a willing recipient of anything he wanted to do. The gentle curve of those full lips demanded attention and Ty didn’t see any reason to deny them, not when Chase opened so eagerly for him and not when he made that little whimper that made his cock twitch. Ty flexed his thigh muscles and tightened his fist, locking Chase down as he ravaged his mouth until they were both hard, horny, and gasping for air.
When he lifted his head, those mismatched eyes blinked up at him with equal parts curiosity, eagerness, and desire. Chase knew better than to assume he knew what would happen next and Ty loved that he was completely open to whatever crazy whim he had. Especially because he knew this morning would be his craziest whim yet.
“If I didn’t feel you against me, I’d think you were a million miles away right now.” Gentle fingers smoothed over his brow and Chase considered him solemnly. “What’s got you thinking so hard?”
“I was thinking about our first time in that fleabag motel in Georgia.” Though that wasn’t strictly the truth, the fact was, he’d been thinking about those early days a lot lately. Mostly in the middle of the night when his brain insisted on reminding him of all his mistakes and the timing couldn’t be ignored.
As they became more secure in their relationship, those nocturnal trips down memory lane became fewer and further between. It wasn’t that Chase erased those memories; his simple acceptance of them had taken their power away. Now that they were ready to take the next steps in securing their little family unit, he couldn’t stop thinking of the past. Usually, the suckiest part of hindsight was being able to see what he might have done differently. This time there were no viable alternatives, just reminders that if he wasn’t constantly vigilant, he could lose Chase forever.

About Jessie Gin

Like many readers, the dream of being a writer has been with me a long time. After three decades of trying, I'd begun to doubt. Thanks to social media, I followed my favorite authors hoping to glean some words of wisdom as I pounded out half-formed ideas with alarming regularity. Two repetitive themes emerged: to be a great writer you must read a lot and your butt must be in the chair every day like it's a job. The more you write, the easier it will be to write and the better you will be at writing. I took that advice to heart and write every day. With three series in the works and a full schedule of releases planned for the next two years, it's been amazing to have made this dream my reality.

I am a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics, and happily ever after. I'm a lover of strong secondary characters, and series filled with families—biological or chosen. All are themes you'll find throughout my books.
