Housemates Series - though a series, each book can be read as a standalone.
Blurb
Shawn is adrift. Recently graduated, he’s stuck in a dead-end job that barely pays the bills. His girlfriend dumped him, his friends have moved on, and he’s still in Plymouth—going nowhere.
Jude is a student living in the same shared house. Out and proud, he’s everything Shawn’s been running from since he hit puberty. When Shawn discovers Jude works as a cam boy, he can’t resist the urge to watch one of his shows. It makes Shawn want things that scare him, yet his fascination forces him to confront his attraction.
Keen to explore his bicurious side, Shawn suggests they do a show together. Jude agrees, and things get complicated—and kinky—fast. But Jude isn’t looking to get involved with someone so deep in the closet. If Shawn’s going to get what he wants, he needs to find the courage to stop hiding from himself and be honest about who he is.
Review
Jude is a 100% extrovert. He is also an exhibitionist. He runs a web show where he has sex with himself in front of a bunch of people and they pay him in tips. He has guts I tell ya! I absolutely couldn’t do that. Though Jude loves what he does, he is lonely and really wants to share himself with someone.
Shawn, as you may remember from past books, has a girlfriend. Well, Shawn does a lot of discovery in this book and I don’t want to say comes to realizations, he more accepts who he is. He hurts people along the way and it takes someone who is take charge, like Jude, to force Shawn to accept himself.
I found this story to be very sweet and touching. Of course wicked hot too! I will say it did take me a very long time to really feel the chemistry between Jude and Shawn. I think it’s because Shawn is so adamant about his privacy and then like a snap he’s okay. I had a little bit of a hard time there. But, in the end they made sense and I was thrilled for them.
It’s a great addition to this series.
