Diverse Reader~ 3 Year Blogiversary: Amy Lane ~Guest Post #Giveaway

The wonderful 3 Year Blogiversary is still moving along! I am loving every second of this!!!!! Today we have the lovely, kind, and talented Amy Lane writing words and getting us excited for what to come!!!! There's a giveaway too my good people so read on <3

Something short about a memory you had on the blog.

I think my favorite memory on your blog is when you put me on your “funny” reads list—twice! This made me really happy, because as much as I love writing the rip-yer-spleen angst, it was lovely to see you liked the happy stuff too.  Happy stuff doesn’t get as much credit as it should for keeping the world going round—you all just made my day.

Talk about what's coming from you in 2017—Good stuff!  First I have The Virgin Manny, which is my addition to the Dreamspun Desire, Harlequin-esque line of books, and the first in a three book series.

On March 24th I have Bonfires—and this one is so close to my heart. For one thing it features a slightly older couple—they’re both close to fifty with older children—and for another, it’s my first foray into the teaching world since It’s Not Shakespeare and Shiny. And this time, in the name of hope, my character is an administrator, and he makes things work.

In April and June, I have parts one and two of Quickening: The Fifth Book of the Little Goddess. This is a book that’s been waiting seven years to happen, and Cory, my heroine is FINALLY going to have those damned twins!  This series is the first thing I ever published and seeing it re-edited and re-covered, and seeing this book finally come out, is something of a triumph.

In July we have the second Dreamspun Desire in the Mannies series, Manny Get Your Guy. SO excited!

In August/September, I have Red Fish, Dead Fish, the sequel to Fish Out of Water from my romantic suspense series.

And in October, I have Familiar Angel, which is part of the Dreamspun Beyond line, and the beginning of a trilogy. I’m working on that now, and I love it so much!

And of course, there are surprises waiting for the rest of the year, as well!  I plan to write the fifth Johnnies book, and definitely a Christmas story!  So it’s going to be an exciting year!

  2. Hi Amy, thanks for your guest blog. We can expect many more wonderful books from you. Super.
I loved Winter Ball, Christmas Kitsch and Candyman. A special place in my heart, however, will be the Granby Knitting Stories, because next to reading my favorite pasttime is knitting. And when reading those books my fingers kept itching to pick up the knitting needles.

  9. I love all your stories! My first was I Love You, Asshole! My most frequent rereads are Dex in Blue and How to Tame an Honest Rabbit. I keep listening to Shiny on audio because it makes me smile in traffic, and that makes the other drivers afraid of me. Best Amy moment was getting to chat with you at RT15, and I hope to do it again sometime. Keep writing, and I'll keep reading! ☺

You know my favs already, and you know I'll read whatever you write, so...after what I know was a sometimes difficult year, thank you for continuing to touch - and rip out - my heart, engage my intellect and feels, and be patient with my knitting questions.

  14. I love your stories, but my favorite has to be Immortal. It reminded me of why I used to love to read fantasy and the story has stuck with me. I cried so much at the end.
