The wonderful 3 Year Blogiversary is still moving along! I am loving every second of this!!!!! Today we have the lovely, kind, and talented Amy Lane writing words and getting us excited for what to come!!!! There's a giveaway too my good people so read on <3
Something short about a memory you had on the blog.
I think my favorite memory on your blog
is when you put me on your “funny” reads list—twice! This made me really happy,
because as much as I love writing the rip-yer-spleen angst, it was lovely to
see you liked the happy stuff too. Happy
stuff doesn’t get as much credit as it should for keeping the world going
round—you all just made my day.
Talk about what's coming from you in 2017—Good
stuff! First I have The Virgin Manny, which is my addition to the Dreamspun Desire,
Harlequin-esque line of books, and the first in a three book series.
On March 24th I have Bonfires—and this one is so close to my
heart. For one thing it features a slightly older couple—they’re both close to
fifty with older children—and for another, it’s my first foray into the
teaching world since It’s Not Shakespeare
and Shiny. And this time, in the
name of hope, my character is an administrator, and he makes things work.
In April and June, I have parts one and
two of Quickening: The Fifth Book of the
Little Goddess. This is a book that’s been waiting seven years to happen,
and Cory, my heroine is FINALLY going to have those damned twins! This series is the first thing I ever
published and seeing it re-edited and re-covered, and seeing this book finally
come out, is something of a triumph.
In July we have the second Dreamspun
Desire in the Mannies series, Manny Get
Your Guy. SO excited!
In August/September, I have Red Fish, Dead Fish, the sequel to Fish Out of Water from my romantic
suspense series.
And in October, I have Familiar Angel, which is part of the
Dreamspun Beyond line, and the beginning of a trilogy. I’m working on that now,
and I love it so much!
And of course, there are surprises
waiting for the rest of the year, as well!
I plan to write the fifth Johnnies book, and definitely a Christmas
story! So it’s going to be an exciting
year!

Hi Amy, thanks for sharing your moment with this blog and your 2017 plan. My favorite of yours; gosh, where do I start... The Locker Room, Clear Water, City Mouse. But my most most favorite of all was/is Under the Rushes, that was just GAH! I love that book!!
ReplyDeleteOH wow-- thanks for the encouragement to write more AU-- it's one of my favorite things to write!
DeleteHi Amy, thanks for your guest blog. We can expect many more wonderful books from you. Super.
ReplyDeleteI loved Winter Ball, Christmas Kitsch and Candyman. A special place in my heart, however, will be the Granby Knitting Stories, because next to reading my favorite pasttime is knitting. And when reading those books my fingers kept itching to pick up the knitting needles.
There is NEVER enough time to knit, right?
DeleteI loved the most was The Virgin Manny and the Three Fates book. Thank you so much for sharing your stories with us!
ReplyDeleteOh WOW--that's a story not many people remember! I'm so glad you loved it!
DeleteAlways love Amy's books!
ReplyDeleteThanks, sweetheart! ((((hugs)))))
DeleteOh boy! I can't pick just one. Some of my favorite Amy Lane books are:
ReplyDeleteChase in Shadow
Keeping Promise Rock
Under the Rushes
A Solid Core of Alpha
:-D You guys are making me want to write more sci-fi!!! Thank you :-)
Deleteamy's books are all great but i love candyman
ReplyDeleteMy hometown stories-- I'm so glad they get so much love!
ReplyDeleteSo many good books, its hard to choose but Little Goddess series, Keeping Promise Rock and Clear Water top my list.
ReplyDelete😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 Quickening-- coming soon!
DeleteSo far my faves are Chase in Shadow & Dex in Blue. I really go for the angsty ones.
ReplyDeleteRed Fish/Dead Fish is my big angst buster for this year-- so you know!
DeleteI love all your stories! My first was I Love You, Asshole! My most frequent rereads are Dex in Blue and How to Tame an Honest Rabbit. I keep listening to Shiny on audio because it makes me smile in traffic, and that makes the other drivers afraid of me. Best Amy moment was getting to chat with you at RT15, and I hope to do it again sometime. Keep writing, and I'll keep reading! ☺
ReplyDeleteI loved that conversation 😀 Would love to have another one!
DeleteLitha's Constant Whim was and is my first best love. The entire Candyman series nips at its heels, but geez, I love ALL I've read. I'm collecting everything! is Candy Man out as a print book? I needs it...
ReplyDeleteCandy Man is actually in print in the Bitter Taffy paperback-- it's sort of a bonus book 👍
DeleteSo many favorites...Keeping Promise Rock, Mourning Heaven, Racing for the Sun. Love the Johnnies books and the Granby Knitting series, but my all time favorite is Beneath the Stain. I shed some major tears over that one. Loved it so much. :)
ReplyDeleteAugh! I need to write Blake's story!
DeleteHeh. I'd enter the giveaway, but I already own all the Amy! You know my favs already, and you know I'll read whatever you write, so...after what I know was a sometimes difficult year, thank you for continuing to touch - and rip out - my heart, engage my intellect and feels, and be patient with my knitting questions.
ReplyDeleteAlways :-) And the knitting questions are fun! <3 <3 <3
DeleteHappy anniversary and thanks for the giveaway. I loved the Triane's Son series, and would like to read more, including the Virgin Manny, because that's my new husband's name ;-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! And if you loved Triane's Son, you might want to try Truth in the Dark, Hammer and Air, and Immortal ... and of course Virgin Manny ;-)
DeleteI love your stories, but my favorite has to be Immortal. It reminded me of why I used to love to read fantasy and the story has stuck with me. I cried so much at the end.
ReplyDeleteThat's AMAZING to hear. Sincerely amazing-- Immortal was not everybody's cup of tea-- tI'm so glad you loved it! Thank you!
