Synopsis

Can a wealthy but frustrated CEO and a guilt-ridden stripper find what they need in a consensual, nonsexual whipping boy arrangement?

Billionaire mogul Grant Jessup, fifty-three, buries his sexual tastes and the reasons behind them—the stresses of his business empire and family. In contrast, Jim Sieber understands the regret that makes him seek pain and penance. As an asexual averse to erotic touch, Jim sets strict boundaries. But as the relationship evolves, Grant struggles to respect them, and both men realize for their association to continue and perhaps grow into real feelings, they’ll have to explore new ways to satisfy each other.

Review

Ryan Loveless brought me to my knees in his Release of A Cordial Agreement. The pain was so raw in his characters that I felt it throughout myself!

A rich and powerful man that has no outlet for his stressful life. A beautiful stripper who is lost and feels that he is in need of constant pain, not for pleasure but for self punishment. Said stripper not only looking for an outlet but is trying to find love and understanding and acceptance for his asexuality. A best friend so traumatized by a beating so severe that it left him in a hospital for over a week that he is afraid to leave his apartment alone.

Three men, two starting off in an arrangement. The other being a best friend, all discovering that they are stronger than they thought and together they are exactly what each need.

This was an absolutely amazing story and through one man’s journey I got more understanding of the meaning of asexuality.
