About Haven Hart

I wanted to take a second, minute, several, whatever to explain about the universe my characters are in. They all live in Haven Hart. Now as you can see by the Universe logo (Made by the amazing Morningstar Ashley of Five Star Designs) this is a whole big place.

There’s the city and the burbs. The place where the rich people live like Christopher and Riordan, there’s the middle class and other burbage where Teddy lives… You get it.

I chose to create a universe because I wanted to build a history. I wanted to invent landmarks and places people liked to go. It wasn’t laziness or disinterest of researching. I wanted, with each book, to build a place you would all grow to love.

In Snow Falling you got a glimpse of it. Mentions of places like Axel’s Automotive, Molly’s Ice Cream, Batts River, and so on.

In Hug It Out you’ll see those names and more. You’ll explore the park that they all love, the coffee shop that will become a fixture in this universe. YOU get to see the main hospital and fancy hotels. Each place has a history and if you don’t read about it in this book you will in future ones.

It all leads to something, to someone, to a family that built Haven Hart. It has roots and I’ve sculpted it in such a way that Haven Hart will be a character in itself.

So I welcome you all to my universe of chaos, love, murder, mayhem, friendship, family, enemies, and coffee…. Yes COFFEE!

I hope you love watching it grow as much as I love writing it.

About the Author

Davidson King, always had a hope that someday her daydreams would become real-life stories. As a child, you would often find her in her own world, thinking up the most insane situations. It may have taken her awhile, but she made her dream come true with her first published work, Snow Falling.

When she’s not writing you can find her blogging away on Diverse Reader, her review and promotional site. She managed to wrangle herself a husband who matched her crazy and they hatched three wonderful children.
