More interview fun today with author EM Denning. She's answering some fun questions and promoting her latest release Lust & Longing! Check it out.
1. If you could live
anywhere else in the world other than where you live, where would it be? Probably Scotland. It doesn’t
get too hot there. I can deal with rain and stuff, but heat is a no go.
2. Cake or brownies? Brownies. Yes. Definitely
brownies.
3. Would you rather be able
to read the minds of babies or the minds of animals? Animals. I think it would be far more interesting.
4. What is the last book you
read? I read
Where The Devil Says Goodnight by KA Merikan and holy crap it was so freaking
good.
5. What are three things
that make you happy? Silent mornings with a cup of coffee. Music on repeat. Warm socks
fresh from the dryer.
6. How many cups of coffee
do you drink in a day? One or two. Hardly ever do I have more than that.
7. Have you ever had a
reoccurring dream? Nope. And most of the time I don’t even remember my dreams.
8. What is your favorite
type of muffin? S’mores
9. What is the idea of a
perfect day for you? A day with 0 obligations, 0 responsibilities, and a few really good
books.
10. What is a movie you’ve
seen you think everyone should see? Mrs Winterbourne. Rikki Lake. Brendan Fraser. So
funny.
Twenty years ago, Noah fell in love with his best friend, Ian Osborn.
Love is a messy and complicated emotion. First love especially.
Unfortunately for Noah Davis, it doesn’t get easier as he gets older.
Noah lost Ian years ago, when life took them in different directions. Not knowing how to let go, he relied on the friends he made while living in the city. His friends helped pull him out of his despair, but it was at a club where he found himself.
He threw himself into his new identity. Being a Dom gave him the control he desperately needed and helped him put the pieces of himself back together.
But time changes things. Noah left the club scene behind years ago. He’s back home in Silver Springs and suddenly Ian Osborn, the one who got away, is there, too.
Love isn’t easier the second time around. Noah and Ian must reconcile who they used to be with the men they are now, and it won’t be easy, but nothing worth having ever is.
