Synopsis
A love story worthy of an old movie… with a new twist.
Artie needs a hero, a man like those he’s always revered in Golden Age films. His drug-dealing jerk of a roommate got him arrested, and since his savior isn’t likely to sweep in and save the day, Artie calls a bail bondsman.
August has always imagined himself a hero from a black-and-white movie, but he’s never found a man willing to let him play that role—at least not until he gets the call from Artie.
Both of their dreams might come true, but not before August must use his skills as a bounty hunter as well as a bondsman. Artie is on the run for his life, and August must protect him and help him clear his name. Only then can they both finally get their man.

Review
I have to admit that I was a little worried that this book was going to be too sweet as I started it. It IS sweet, but with just the right amount .
The characters of Artie and August really couldn’t be better suited for each other, they’re both looking for an old fashioned romantic love. Their meeting shouldn’t be romantic at all and yet, it is. Along the way to happily ever after, these two come across some trouble and some bad guys. Artie is in danger and finds in August why he’s always wanted....a hero.
This book is sweet as I’ve said, but it’s also quite sexy. Artie and August are very compatible in all ways and it was fun watching them fall in love. I really am a fan of finding something just a little different in a book and B.G. Thomas gives me that with this one.
