Synopsis

Vegas is a hot phone sex operator who knows just how to make your deepest, darkest fantasies come true either with a gentle whisper in your ear or with a rough growling command. When he’s in control, you know you’re in good hands. Vegas can tickle or scratch whatever itch or fetish a caller can throw at him.

But his job at the exclusive ‘Black Vanilla’ has its dark side, which becomes all too clear when Vegas receives a call one night that hits a little too close to home.

Somewhere out there, someone’s watching him. Someone who’s taken their fantasy one step too far. It isn’t long before Vegas finds himself entangled in a web of dark and dangerous obsession. An obsession that can only end one way.

“Dirty Talk” will take you deep into the world of stimulating oral desire and blur the lines that exist between our ultimate fantasies and harsh reality.

Review

I have no idea how to start this review. So, that’s how I’ll begin. This was an interesting story I’ll give it that. It was a lot of suspense and intrigue. Many characters in play with this story. The mystery was conducted well… until it wasn’t.

I finished this book beyond confused. I wanted to say maybe it was open to interpretation but I can’t. The bad guy is revealed, confesses but then the end doesn’t make any sense at all. I read the last 4 chapters over and over to see where I went wrong and couldn’t figure it out.

I felt like the author had a good thing going even though I had questions. The “bad guy” was given. It was over. Why that ending? No clarity or closure? I am HOPING there is a book 2, or novella, or something to explain what just happened.

I don’t like negative reviews and I’m not giving one. The writing was amazing, I liked that everyone had names like London, Vegas, Bronx, Driver. It was cute. But the structure of the story fell apart and I’d be lying if when it ended I wasn’t a bit upset.

So, this book ended abruptly with little to no answers and even more questions. Perhaps an added epilogue or a few more chapters? I don’t know. Something.

I’m going to leave it at that. I am giving it 3 stars because I was hard in love with it until it fell apart.
