Regent's Park Pack Series
Blurb
Rachel Tregarrak, Penwith pack beta and daughter of the alpha, has always called the rugged Cornish coast her home. With its beautiful landscapes, bracing sea air, and vast spaces to run, she can’t imagine living anywhere else.
After years of living with her mother in her grandfather’s pack, Sara Gallen returns to Penzance to be with her alpha father and her brothers. She wants to build their relationships, get to know the rest of her family better than occasional visits allow.
When their paths cross on the full moon, the attraction is immediate and instinctive. But Sara’s father refuses to allow such a union and forbids any further contact. Sara finds solace with her grandmother in her alpha council residence, and Rachel is sent to a London pack to keep her out of trouble. Both women feel the desperate ache of an uncompleted bond, but unless they find a way to be together, it’ll fade to nothing and their connection will be lost.
Review
Each book of this series makes me love it even more!
Annabelle has created a world and people that I am
thoroughly invested in, and I
cannot say how happy I was to know that Rachel and Sara were getting their own
story!
Even though it was a novella,
I don’t feel like the author was any less invested in these characters or the
overarching story long of the Regents Park
Pack series. Along with the journey of Rachel and Sara from the moment the
potential bond was started to the very
end of their HEA, we not only got a beautiful romance better the two but a
continuation of what’s going on at Regents Park and its pack members.
I love, love Sara grandmother, Alpha Council member, Celia.
That woman was everything with her normal conversation that were really
clues to help Sara and her finding loopholes to the same end. I enjoyed seeing Cam and the betas again and knowing where
they were in their stories! And oh, did it make me even more desperate for stories
for Jason and Daryl!
I loved Rachel just as much here as I need in the previous
book, Bitten By The Alpha,
when she arrived at Regents Park pack from her pack, Penwith Pack. She was an easy character to love and cheer for even
after I was hesitant about who she was to
start. I loved the respect and bond
Rachel grew to have with her temporary alpha, Cam. It was beautiful to see, and I can’t wait to see how that helps her
grow.
Sara was the character that had a lot of growth in this
story, in terms of standing up for
herself against her father in the end. I think with her staying her grandmother
helped her a lot in that way since Celia is protective but smart in the advice
she gave Sara throughout her stay.
I can’t say enough how much I loved this addition to the
series and I cannot wait for more!
