Synopsis
Tom and Stanley: Book One
Nothing bad is supposed to happen in Palm Springs.
At least that’s what San Francisco private detective Tom Danzel and his partner Stanley Korski believe. But when their friend Chris finds a dead body in his hotel room bed, Tom and Stanley drive out to help the local police investigate.
What they discover is a rather nasty green snake and an elegant hotel that offers delicacies not usually found on a room service menu. As the body count increases, the two detectives are going to have to rely on their skills and each other if they’re going to survive this very deadly kind of love.

Review
Former San Francisco
police officers Stanley Korski and Tom Danzel
are back. The couple are partners in life
as well as in business. The two are now private investigators and are called to
Palm Springs when their friend Chris finds a dead body in his hotel room bed.
The setting in this book is a gay resort that caters to rich older men and they
have lots of “frosting” around in the form of pretty, younger available men.
This place is a playground where anything seems to go and to be for sale. When
more bodies are found and Stanley and Tom are given warnings to back off,
things start to get really interesting!
I always love a book
with a good suspense story and this one does a really good job with it. I had
not read the previous books about Tom and Stanley and was playing a bit of
catch up with these two. Their dynamic and relationship is something I want to
know more about. I love the interplay between these two, it’s sexy and witty.
They are definitely a great pair, in and out of the bedroom. I definitely
recommend this book and am going to go back and read the previous books as
well.
