BUD/S: six months of the most intense training there is. It’s survival of the toughest, and Matt Knytych is determined to come out the other side a navy SEAL.

Distraction is life or death. And just the sight of former marine Shane Hovland is enough to shake Matt’s concentration.

Shane came to BUD/S training ready to prove himself—again. Semper Fi is forever, but he needs a new start. Not this dangerous heat with a man he barely knows.

Everything they’ve ever wanted is riding on a thin, punishing line. And they’ll have to fight for more than just each other if they want to make it through intact.

After all, the only easy day was yesterday.

Review

I was so excited when I saw Melanie Hansen was coming out with a new book. Having read and completely loved her book Point of Contact, I couldn’t wait for more. This is a book with the military as the backdrop as well, but a different feel all around and I loved it!

Shane and Matt meet at BUD/S training, both hoping to come through the other side as Navy Seals. They expect to be pushed passes their physical and mental limits, they expect pain and Hell Week. What they don’t expect is attraction and maybe even something more. They’re competitive, friendly adversaries and they’ve got each other’s back. I love seeing the comradeship of these guys working together to get through what will ultimately be one of the hardest things in their lives. Melanie Hansen has this way of writing the seal training scenes that makes you smell saltwater and feel the cold, she just makes it all so real.

I am honestly looking so forward to seeing where this author goes next, I am so glad I picked up Point of Contact and found her writing. With Loving A Warrior, she has sealed the deal, I am a true fan. Hope everyone will pick this book up, it’s range of emotions run the gauntlet and leave you with a smile.

I loved this so much! She really is so good.
