this sweet but very sensitive story of a couple who is faced with the unknown,
Author Nell Iris’s Team Luker brings
a powerful message to me as a reader about growing as a couple.
I
have read and reviewed so many stories from second chance, friends to lovers
etc, but very few that just solely focus on the couple. A more real-life kind
of aspect that most couples, regardless of marital status, face is the fact
that as the years pass eventually, each may have to endure a time when their
soulmate is given the unknown news regarding health issues.
As
with each relationship no one actually knows the depth of what that couple is
facing. This author tries to give a view on what a couple does do given this
situation.
It
is such a beautiful story of two men that have been together for so many years
dealing with a scare that could possibly medically complicate one of their
lives while the other fights with coming to terms with the possibility of it
actually being a reality.
