GayRomLit— or as some refer to it as GRL— truly is the must-attend event for
people who create and celebrate LGBT romance. For those who are unfamiliar with
what GRL is I can try and summarize it. Every year in October (this year it’s
the 17th to the 20th with pre-events on the 16th)
the LGBT community consisting of authors, narrators, readers, and professionals
gather to share in their love of LGBT romance. There are signings, author
lounges, many events, spotlights, it really is hours of fun.
The location
changes every year and on the opening night of each year the spot for the next
year is announced. During this time at
GRL there are two signings. One for Registered Authors and one for Featured
Authors.
At these
signings you can go to the authors’ tables, talk, have them sign swag they
have, books you’ve brought, pick up pre-orders, and they will even sign
something you brought from home.
Lounges are
set up as well these are outside the signing times. Registered authors have one
and featured have two lounges.
There will
also be spotlights with readings, Q&A’s and so much more.
Now until
October 14th Diverse Reader is spotlighting authors that will be at
this years GRL. And if you want to know more about it simply head over to the
site by clicking here:
Now for our
Spotlight Author of the day!
Babies
and Serial Killers
(but
not, so far, in the same book)
Or not yet anyway!
Yes, that’s me – I write Romantic Suspense often with a paranormal
twist, and MPreg. And to be honest, there’s often babies in my romantic
suspense but no men have given birth at gun point – well, not at any point
really in those books – but I suppose there’s always time.
I’m in two events at GRL separate to the regular
lounges and signings. The first one is the romantic suspense storyteller panel
on Thursday at 1.30pm, along with two fabulous authors Layla Reyne and Aimee
Nicole Walker, where the readers are going to help us make up a story. Choose
who kisses and who dies. Or maybe who dies after being kissed…you never know.
The next event will be a funfair on Saturday
afternoon. Along with nine other MPreg authors we are having a baby shower
complete with games and awesome prizes.
Other times to see me include my two author lounge
sessions at 4pm on both Thursday and Friday, and the Saturday morning author
signing. My pre-order sheet is in the files on the GRL facebook attendees page,
but I’m including a link here as well. I will be bringing a few extra copies
but not so many as I’m flying to GRL.
The book I’m most excited about this year is my Merlin
and Lancelot story The Twelfth Knight set in a modern day New York. I will also
have both romantic suspense titles In Safe Hands and In Safe Keeping, all my
Enhanced series, and two of my baby books His First Family and His First Kiss.
See you all very soon. How many sleeps??

To battle an ancient
evil the only weapon each hero will have is each other.
Hundreds of years ago, facing defeat, Morgana sent monsters into the future to vanquish a humanity King Arthur wouldn’t be able to save. The King might have won the battle, but now, centuries later, a few chosen men will have to fight the war.
Merlin always hated being named after some mythological wizard. His dad had been obsessed with the magic man of King Arthur’s Court before his untimely death - a loss that had sent Merlin reeling in a downward spiral. Now 23, and going simply by ‘Mel’ (thank-you-very-much), Merlin is ill-prepared (to say the least) for the outrageous claims of a proper English knight bent on overcoming evil.
Born a commoner, Lancelot was never supposed to be a knight in his own time, never mind now, in a modern world he is so woefully untrained to protect. Thrown into a battle centuries in the making, this flawed hero, and a young man too-used to battling monsters of the present day, will have to come together to save humanity.

Heroes
and Babies
He can’t save everyone…
Firefighter Lucas Attiker is mired in guilt by his inability to save his young son, who perished in a fire three years ago. When he rescues a troubled young man and his baby daughter from a Colorado forest fire, Lucas finally begins to forgive himself. But the wildfire is only the beginning of the dangers facing them.
Hell-bent on saving his daughter from his crime boss ex, Owen Michaels is on the run with the baby in tow—fleeing both the killers who are after him and the US Marshals Service deputies assigned to protect him. When his desperate flight lands them in the midst of an inferno, the man who saves them offers hope for more than just survival.
They might have escaped a blazing forest and a hail of bullets, but both men will need to risk their lives—and their hearts—to give a little girl a loving family… if they can make it out alive.

Thrown out and thrown away.
Lorne Austen—on the very day his alpha’s youngest
children were fifteen—was told to pack his bags and leave the only real home he
had ever known. Heartbroken and alone he takes shelter from the snowstorm with
other stranded travelers, miles away from the family he had always considered
his.
Doctor Jonathan Owens has personal reasons for never wanting
to mate an omega, but all his good intentions are tested to the limit when he
meets Lorne. After spending the night together he is devastated to find Lorne has
vanished without a trace.
Soon enough, Lorne discovers the impossible has
happened and he is pregnant. But the law says unmated omegas cannot keep the
babies they give birth to. Eventually, realizing something is badly wrong with
his pregnancy, he goes to the clinic and comes face to face with Jonathan
again.
All Lorne has wanted is a family he won’t lose.
Jonathan has spent years making sure he never needed one. Faced with the real
danger that the babies won’t even survive long enough to be born, can these two
find love and the strength they need in each other or will their differences always
pull them apart?
