Next up in our feature: All About Me and What's To Come we have a treat turning the title into All About Me and A Cover Reveal! We have a great guest post from Joseph Lance Tonlet, an epic cover reveal to his upcoming book, and an excerpt to that book. So, enjoy.
Hi everyone!
First, please let me offer my most sincere thanks to Meredith for
extending an invitation to guest post. Your support of my work has been
incredible. Again, thank you!
It’s hard to believe it’s been more than two years since my last
full-length novel, Wes’ Denial, was released. However, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been writing.
*smiles* I have seven manuscripts in various states of completion…I just need
to read less and write more, LOL! (In the last two years, I’ve read 425+ books.
Gah, LOVE reading…like sooo much!) Hopefully, 2019 will see a few more releases
added to my catalogue.
*fingers crossed*
Speaking of releases, below is the beautiful cover for my upcoming
release, Omega Born, created by the incredibly talented Preston Hultz. I wanted to go with a much simpler look for this book; something
clean, uncluttered, and of course sexy. Preston, as always, gave me a cover
straight out of my dreams.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Omegaverse and Alternate Universe
Slave stories. There’s something incredibly appealing about reading a book
whose setting is familiar, but where the rules are completely different. And,
of course, I enjoy the darkness of these subgenres. Like r-e-a-l-l-y enjoy
them. Thus, I decided to try my hand at penning one.
This cover reveal also comes with the blurb and a very short
excerpt. I hope you enjoy them both. I also hope to be invited back to Diverse
Reader when the book releases (spring of 2019)…so I can offer a more in-depth
excerpt and do a proper giveaway.
Lastly, I’d like to that you, my fellow readers, for the
tremendous support you’ve shown me over the years. You’ve made my author
journey nothing less than stupendous! Massive love to each of you.
Until later,Peace,
JLT

Synopsis
In a world where everyone is born
an Alpha, beta, or omega, is it possible to be one birth nature but lead a full
life while pretending to be another?
Tobias Hanson is a cop,
specifically a homicide detective. The cases he investigates? Murdered omegas.
Except in Tobias’ world, an Alpha killing his omega is perfectly acceptable.
After all, omegas are nothing more than easily replaced, purchased property.
With his family long since gone, Tobias spends his days with dead omegas, and
his nights in self-imposed solitary loneliness.
Abundio Chale is an enigma. Like
most alphas, he’s highly educated, attractive, and possesses the same
self-confidence all of his birth nature do. Yet, despite his schooling and his
alpha privilege, he hops from job to job as if searching for something. And, like
Tobias, he spends most evenings alone, longing for the one thing he doesn’t
have.
A chance meeting puts both men on a path neither saw coming. Lives
will change, love will be found, and both men may get exactly what they want.
But, like most things, there will be a price to pay. Will it be worth it?
Excerpt
Tobias looked down into his glass
and swirled the gin around. “Tobias was my family beta’s name, but we all
called him T.H. My family alpha christened me with his mate’s name—he cared for
that man so much, always wanted to make him happy—and T.H. wanted a baby. So
that’s how I came to be; born from…love.” He raised his gaze to meet Abundio’s
again. “Every single time that generous alpha set eyes on our sweet beta, it
was clear as day how he felt. He’d have given him, and our omega, anything they
asked for.” He tossed back the gin. “He never put our omega in a fuckin’
collar, ever. Sometimes I see those hunks of metal—whose only purpose is to
control and degrade—and, in my mind’s eye, I picture our loving omega, Deak,
and I imagine how different his life would have been if he’d been forced to
live like that, and it feels like my heart is being ripped right outta my
fuckin’ chest.”
