Synopsis

He'll love him in any lifetime.

Neil isn’t a ghost, but he feels like one. Reincarnated with all his memories from his prior life, he spent twenty years trapped in a child’s body, wanting nothing more than to grow up and reclaim the love of his life.

As an adult, Neil finds there's more than lost time separating them. Joshua has built a beautiful life since Neil’s death, and how exactly is Neil supposed to introduce himself? As Joshua's long-dead lover in a new body? Heartbroken and hopeless, Neil takes refuge in his work, developing microscopic robots called nanites that can produce medical miracles.

When Joshua meets a young scientist working on a medical project, his soul senses something his rational mind can't believe. Has Neil truly come back to him after twenty years? And if the impossible is real, can they be together at long last?

Any Given Lifetime is a stand-alone, slow burn, second chance gay romance by Leta Blake featuring reincarnation and true love. This story includes some angst, some steam, an age gap, and, of course, a happy ending.

Review

Anyone who's read anything by Leta Blake knows that a few things will happen. First, be sure to have Kleenex handy because your heart is going to get shredded at least one time. Second, the characters will embed themselves into your soul and you'll continue to think about them long after you finish the last page of the book. And lastly, the writing will be impeccable. Leta's new release, Any Given Lifetime, is all of this and SO much more!

Joshua and Neil's love story is one that will capture your heart and not let go from beginning to end. This is a romance unlike most you've read. Told through flashbacks-which are written seamlessly-it is a true story of love conquering even the most impossible of obstacles. Yes, this is a story about reincarnation (not a spoiler, you can tell from the blurb what the book is about) but it's the love and the hope that shines through. Joshua and Neil are truly meant to be together and though there's a lot of pain and ups and downs through the book, when you reach that one moment- you know the one, where everything finally comes together and you know the HEA is right here- it's glorious!

There is a lot to Any Given Lifetime. It's a journey filled with hope and joy and sorrow and faith. There's so much love, and in typical Leta Blake style, there's some scorching hot sex. This story has some of everything. It's romantic and swoony, it's emotional and painful, it will challenge your perceptions of life and death, and most of all, it just makes you feel everything. Right in your heart and soul. I can't recommend this book enough. Any fan of Leta Blake is going to simply love this, but any fan of romance will fall in love with Joshua and Neil and rejoice in their happily ever after. Do not miss this epic love story, you'll be so sorry if you do!
