Author Saturday Spotlight: Chris McHart *Interview & Giveaway*

Chris McHart is new to this genre but definitely one to watch! Chris is busy at work writing MANY amazing books but right now you can read Never Wrong and Grenzen by this author.

I have a wonderful interview for you all and Chris is offering one of you a chance to win either Never Wrong or Grenzen!!! WOOHOO!!!

Let's check out these books, shall we?

What do you do if the Dom you love is half a world away?

When work requires Ryan to leave behind warm and sunny Arizona for cold and snowy Germany, he decides to visit the famous Nuremberg Christmas Market where he meets sexy Julian.
But Julian isn’t an average guy, he’s a Dom. And he wants Ryan to be his sub.
That’s something Ryan has dreamt of, but never admitted to anyone, not even himself. With Julian it suddenly becomes possible.
But what happens once Ryan has to go home, especially since he’s developing feelings for Julian?
There isn’t a future for a relationship if you’re half a world apart…

Jeff was raised to believe love between two men is wrong. Or is it? Can love ever be wrong?

When Jeff meets the much younger Dean, he only knows he wants him, consequences be damned. But things are not as easy, especially after Jeff's ex calls and announces big news.

And Dean? He thinks the new neighbor is hot, but he's not interested in something more than a rebound fuck. That's what he tells himself, at least.

But lust isn't a good basis for a relationship, more so since Jeff isn't sure whether he can deal with being gay.

Love is never wrong, but can Jeff accept that?

 INTERVIEW

You're a new author to so many, can you tell us a little about yourself and what made you choose to become a writer?

I fear I'm kind of boring in real life. J You already know I work as an accountant, that I have way too many animals and that I’m a lover of all Scottish things. And yes, to answer that question, I own a kilt, and no, you don't wear anything underneath it. Otherwise it'd be a skirt
You can usually find me lost in my writing with a glass of Scotch or a cup of coffee nearby, or, if I'm not writing, I'm usually reading, spending time on social networks, or I'm planning the next scenes of my writing.
I’m forever battling too much laundry, try to keep everything tidy and clean, and have still enough time to write.

What made me choose to write?
I'd say I didn't choose to become a writer, it's a way for me to get the voices in my head to be silent  I always had follow up stories of books I’d read in my head, but I never wrote them down. Then, one day, I came across a writing book. And I thought, why not? Try it. As they say, the rest is history
It took me a while to get used to writing in English (I can't write in German, for whatever reason) since reading and writing in English are two different pairs of shoes... Let's just say my crit group had amazing patience with correcting my mistakes, telling me how to say it right and showing me how to actually write stories you can read without cringing. I’m still learning, and maybe I’ll be able to write something without being afraid of making a mistake

Grenzen is a love story and, of course, BDSM. What research did you have to do for that?

For the love part? I'm happily married, so no research necessary
The BDSM part? I might know a few things from personal experience (sorry, private, I'm not telling anything more  ) and of course I had to read quite a few books to study how it works  I can tell you, what a hardship!
One of my crit partners is also very active in the lifestyle, and I asked her a bunch of questions. She also critted Grenzen to make sure I didn't get any details wrong. A big thank you on that.

With Never Wrong you address age gap and finding love regardless of your age. What are your thoughts about age being a factor in finding a soul mate?

I don't think age matters. As long as the love is there, it doesn't matter if there is a big age difference. Society might see that differently, but for me it wouldn’t be a problem.

What inspires you most when it comes to your writing?

The love I feel for my husband. We’ve been together for close to ten years and it’s still amazing.

Where would you love to travel for book research?

The USA Some of my books are set up there, and I would really love to visit the locations and meet a few of my online friends in person.

If you could collaborate with any author, who would you choose?

Let's just say there are so many amazing authors out there, if one of them would want to co-write, I wouldn't say no. I definitely can't just pick one

As an author, what is your biggest hope for your writing?

To write stories that make other people happy. Writing gives me a very special kind of satisfaction, and if I someone smiles after reading one of my books, I'm even more happy. My biggest dream is to give that to people—happiness.

Can you tell us about your future projects?

I'm currently working on a sequel to Never Wrong and on a M/M/M/M novel. I also plan on writing the second book in the Love in Germany series.

Every day more and more writers choose M/M as the genre for them to publish in. What made you choose M/M?

The genre chose me. Reading my first M/M book was like coming home
