Excerpt

“Hey, Taylor.”
“Hey, guys. Wow, neat, isn’t it?” His deep voice was soothing; I could listen to it all day. He smelled clean and fresh and looked just as amazing as he had at the dinner. I wanted to keep him close, keep him talking.
“Yeah, I think there’s group shots next and then some ones of everyone on their own too. It’s all a bit surreal.”
He gave Anderson a look I couldn’t quite decipher. “Could I steal Adam away for just a minute?” he asked. Anderson looked a bit stunned but said, “Sure thing.”
He trailed his finger down my wrist and, and then as we neared an exit door, took my hand. I didn’t know what the hell I was doing, or what he was doing, but I wasn’t going to stop him either. I checked out his broad shoulders and muscled back and his fine ass while I was being pulled along. I was proud of myself that I could do all that. Speaking would have been a completely different story.
“Ah, Taylor,” I hedged rather nervously. “What’s going on here? Is everything okay?”
He looked back as he took me through a door that seemed to bring us to a long corridor. Before I knew what was happening, he had pushed me against the hallway wall and had me caged in with his arms on either side. His body shielded mine. I looked up into his beautiful hazel eyes. He was looking directly at me with a look of such desire, it couldn’t be described as anything else. It made no sense to me.
“Ahh, I love your shirt,” he said. He brought his thumb up to my lips and rubbed it slowly back and forth. I was mesmerized. His other hand dropped from the wall and brushed along the line of skin between my shorts and the shirt when he lifted the edge up. He rubbed across just above the top of my waistband. I might have let out a sigh, but I’m not entirely sure.
I could almost have sworn he was about to kiss me. With his hand still on my cheek and his thumb on my lips, he stared into my eyes.
“Are you Superman or Batman?” he asked huskily.
Talking was not an option at that moment. My mouth had dried up, and all I could do was try to stop myself from blurting if he wanted to be my Superman. That I loved the mystery of it and could imagine myself as the other man. That he could easily be Superman. Did he want to be my Superman? Okay, brain, stop talking!
Instead I stuck my tongue out quickly to lick his thumb. He bent down slightly then as if to kiss me.
And then the spell was broken. Over his shoulder, I saw his sister, Jessica, was in the hallway, obviously looking for him. Her face had a look of surprise—or maybe was that smugness—when she saw us. By this point Taylor had jumped away as if on fire, and I was still trying to recover from that almost kiss. His recovery time seemed quicker than mine.
“Hey, sis. Me and Adam here were just discussing the race and photo ops. Needed a quiet place to talk, away from everyone.”

“Oh, talking is it,” she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. Ha! I liked his sister. I lifted my hand to my mouth to suppress a laugh, and Taylor whipped his head around to glare at me.

Review

I love Christmas romances and I love friends to lovers romances! This book was a double dose of awesome for me!

Cameron and Levi have been best friends since middle school who eventually added benefits to their friendship. This has worked out great for them for years. Cameron lives in NYC, a two hour plane ride from their hometown.the two get together many times through each year and always have hot no strings sex. Throughout this arrangement, the friendship stays intact. What happens though when Christmas loving Levi admits to commitment shy Cameron that he loves him?

Cameron does not react well and it seems as if it will take a Christmas miracle to reunite these two.
With some help from a friend, maybe Cameron can pull it off!

I loved this story so much that I wanted to decorate my house! Cameron and Levi’s love for each other and for Christmas is so obvious and so heartwarming. Saying that, the heat between them is crazy hot! Such a great, sexy holiday read!

EXCERPT

As I pulled Levi on top of me, I shuffled up into him. He kissed me and I loved the feel of his beard scratching against mine. We fell into an easy rhythm and I could feel his erection through his jeans, hard against mine. I slid my hands down his pants and squeezed. His fingers trailed leisurely through my hair and it felt amazing. He thrusted against me as his tongue slid along my lips, requesting entry. I let him in and he explored, tangling our tongues. He tasted of cinnamon and sugar. Delicious.
Just as I was getting into it and wanting to take off more clothes, a beep interrupted us. Rory barked like crazy and I let my head fall back in frustration.
He jumped up. "That'll be the cinnamon buns!"
"You are picking your baking over me?” I called through to the kitchen.  This really was like a sweet-pain-pleasure-torture or something. Sex or cinnamon rolls? I laughed to myself and got up. “Wait, don't answer that, I'd probably do the same."
"All in good time, my friend," he said. "I do have to get these ready for the Christmas bake sale at the LGBT center." Levi would donate anything he could to that center. He was incredible. I made a monetary donation each year, but his gift seemed that much more earnest. I gave him my puppy dog eyes look in hopes of snagging one. "Pleeease..."
"You are incorrigible," he said as he pushed my fingers away.

Damn, I had almost swiped some of the delectable icing. He told me they need time to cool down anyways. Them and me both, I thought. I was hot and horny from a few minutes with him on the sofa earlier. There would be time for more later.
