Announcement from Diverse Reader

 

This has to be the hardest post I've ever had to write in my life. I want to be eloquent and express my emotions perfectly but I'm just not sure I can so be patient please.

While this may be a shock to some, for others it won't be. 2020 will be the last year for Diverse Reader. That's the short of it. This was not an easy decision to make and I talked to people, my reviewers, friends. In the end I knew it had to be my call. Now I will explain why.

2020, as you know, hasn't been kind to many. Here at Diverse Reader we have felt that strain a great deal. There have been many struggles with scheduling, life crisis, and other issues. I personally, am going to be doing distance learning for three of my children this coming year on top of my own writing and health issues of my own.

Erin, Morningstar, Michael, Jenn, Nikki, Truus, Racheal, and Sammy have been instrumental in making this blog as amazing as it's been. Without them I would never have been able to see it grow into what it's become. But at the end of the day I couldn't keep up with the demand and how many directions it threw me in. 

I love this community and I'm not going anywhere. I am still around and will be writing my books, reading whenever I can, and supporting each and every one of you. But something had to give. I won't get into the personal issues of my own, but know they were dire for me to have to shut down this blog.

I adore you all and know my door is always open and my shoulder is sturdy to lean on.
