I have to admit that I’m a big fan of this series, I love it’s grittiness and I love the family being built with each book.
I have been waiting for David Beauchamp’s story since we first met him as Gavin’s best friend. David comes across as a spoiled playboy and maybe he is to some degree, but there’s more to him than that.
After getting himself into some trouble with the law, Beach’s vices have all been taken away, except one...sex. After a particularly interesting, thought provoking evening of dominating sex, he doesn’t expect to see the man who made him feel so much again. He especially doesn’t expect to see him as his Parole Officer. Talk about uncomfortable, for both men, for many reasons.
Tai Fnoti is shocked when last night’s hook up is a new case he’s just been assigned. After excusing himself as Beach’s PO, the two do see each other again. Beach can’t forget the way Tai dominated him and wants more, wants to understand why he wants this from this man. For Tai, laying down the law in the bedroom is the only way he operates. These two have a lot to figure out and we get a front row seat to all the hotness, the challenges and all the fun. Another great addition to this series. As someone who lives in the suburbs of Baltimore, I once again enjoyed reading about so many familiar places. It adds so much texture to the story for me.
This was another really good one and it was super hot too.
