Synopsis

Minor league goalie Adam Seiger is a nice guy. He’s kind, cute, and a little quirky (but show me a goalie who isn’t) and he loves to interact with fans. During a meet and greet after a game Adam meets Cason Reyes, a hard-working young man with stunning amber eyes and a smile as sweet as a candy cane. Desperate to see Cason again, Adam does something more than a little naughty.

To add insult to the egg nog, it appears that one little white lie may end Adam’s chance of having a merry Christmas with a new boyfriend. Will he end up with nothing but a lump of coal in his stocking, instead of the man who owns his heart?

Review

Christmas and hockey; what's not to love about that? This story has both and even better, it's a great story too!

I'm going right in and saying I loved Adam! He's this awkward, nerdy, fabulous goalie who is openly gay. He's SO awkward that it's not just a physical thing. He meets Cason by, no lie, falling or crashing into him and his nephew! Instead of being all suave and asking him out when he's clearly attracted to him, noooooooooo; he invites Cason and his nephew to a party that doesn't exist! So now he's a liar.

But you feel for the guy because he's him and it's just now he is.His geekiness makes this character so awesome. He rocks at hockey but slips and slides through every other part of his life. I can sympathize with his weirdness so much.

This novella has a lot of story to it and what made this a successful novella was the pacing was perfect. Not rushed, not slow. It was just right. Adam and Cason are wonderful together. This is such a sweet Christmasy hockey romance. You're sure to love it!
