Dragons, vampires, werewolves, fae, witches and one very confused human.

* * * *

Sam, 100% human (no, really) inherits a crumbling building and a private detective agency from his Uncle.

Bob, a brooding stubborn and ancient vampire turns up at his door and refuses to leave.

Before Sam can say 'I only want human cases' he's knee deep in werewolves, dragons, vampires and witches.

Book 1 - The Case of The Cupid Curse

Sam Enderson is a human detective who inherits a building from where his Uncle used to run a detective agency. He finds himself working for paranormal creatures despite his resolve to stick with humans only. To supplement his income as a new PI Sam rents out rooms in the large house.

Bob is a vampire and turns up on Sam's doorstep to rent a room. Sparks fly and Sam is attracted to the vampire despite himself.

Sam is cursed by a witch, and has two cases landing on his desk. Werewolves, annoying ghosts and a grumpy gargoyle are enough to drive Sam mad. But somehow in amongst all of this he has to find a missing fae and a missing shifter child.

Book 2 - The Case of the Wicked Wolf

Naiads, humans, sirens and a challenge for Alpha make up the intricate story in the race to rescue the missing children.

Sam and Bob have more than just the case of one lost child to handle. Not only is Shelby Hartman missing, but other paranormal children have disappeared. The race to rescue the children is hampered by naiads, humans, sirens and a challenge for Alpha.

Hartman Hunter is desperate to find his daughter. He turns to the demon Danjal Naamah for help. The problem is that Danjal is the only person Hartman has ever loved—the man he let go for the sake of the pack…

NB: Previously released as two separate books.

Review

Cupid’s Curse

Volume one of End Street has two stories. The First is Cupid’s Curse and it’s also how this whole series begins. We meet an array of colorful characters in this book. MC Sam is human… we think…. Sort of. He inherits a PI company from his uncle who has passed. His uncle whom he loved but it looks like he was a bit shystee.

So Sam takes it over, is all excited actually until he realizes the majority of his business comes from paranormals. We are talking about ALL paranormals. Fae, vampires, Werewolves, Sirens, witches… oh the list goes on. His associates, tenants, and lover are a Vampire, gargoyle, a spirit, a talking cat, and a half siren half vampire. It’s a lot of fun and not even a second of boring.

I can’t blame Sam when he refuses a witch’s business to bring her a werewolf to kill but it also gives him a curse and now he’s irresistible to EVERYONE!

What I’m so fascinated with at this point in the series is that everyone keeps asking Sam what he is and he’s always answering, human. But there’s something going on with him that not even he knows and I’m excited to see where that goes.

This is such an amazingly fun story and I just know these are all going to be just as entertaining.

Wicked Wolf

The second story in End Street Volume 1 is The Case of the Wicked Wolf. It takes place where Cupid’s Curse ends. We are still looking for Shelby and Sam is dealing with the sudden outpouring of paranormals in need. We have Trolls and all sorts of creatures again all around us.

Where Cupid’s Curse was Sam’s POV we get Hartman (The Alpha Werewolf’s) POV in this one as well. And Dan, the demon. It was nice to see how some of the paranormals were thinking and with all the things going on too.

The End Street series is an onion for sure. So many layers, stories, characters, and possibilities. RJ and Amber overlap a lot and you can see where one story will intersect with another. Cupid’s Curse and Wicked Wolf were that. Volume 1 however does end with cases all solved. Volume two, I’m suspecting will have intersecting cases again. I love that.

Sam is actually gaining power and with each case he solves for the paranormals the more gifts he gets, more favors he has, and a larger target on his back from the Sirens…. They are not his friends lol.

Sam and Bob are full on in love and it’s great to see other characters getting their happily ever afters too.

This is an awesome read!
