Caleb Stone was raised on the Upper East Side, where wealth and lineage reigns, and “alternative lifestyles” are hidden. It took him years to come out to his family, but he’s still stuck in the stranglehold of their expectations. Caleb knows he has to build his confidence and shake things up, but he doesn’t know how… until Oliver Buckley enters the picture.

Oli is everything Caleb isn’t—risk-taking, provocative, and fiercely independent. Disowned by his family, Oli has made his own way in the world and is beholden to no one. After a chance encounter on New Year’s Eve, Caleb is smitten.

As Caleb sheds the insecurities that have held him back for years, he makes bold steps toward changing his career and escaping years of sexual repression. But for Caleb to take full control of his life, he has to be brave enough to confront his feelings and trust Oli with his heart.

I really and truly love this series. No two characters are alike and each story is truly its own.
In First & First Caleb (remember him as David’s ex) and Oli “Oliver” (Remember him he kissed Raymond) get their story.

Now, the author, in social media, was saying this was by far the dirtiest book he ever wrote and he wasn’t wrong. Caleb is a kinky fella and Oli is happy to enable that! Those two were so made for each other.

Now, I will say this. Oli seriously irritated me a lot. I was back and forth on whether or not I liked him. I never thought I’d feel bad for Caleb but I did. He is so misunderstood and I get that he wouldn’t understand some social situations or he’d say something wrong. But I was so upset for him countless time with Oli’s antics.

Meredith, Caleb’s sister, is fabulous and I’m not just saying that because she has the same name as me. She was a free spirited firecracker. An awesome addition to the series. Charlie was fabulous and it was great to see more of him even though he tore my heart out (Hopefully he will get his HEA)

So Oli and Caleb had a ton of stuff they needed to deal with and for the most part I feel it was dealt with but it felt a tad loose. I wanted a longer happy time than we got. An epilogue maybe would have done that. But Santino Hassell absolutely tied it all together.

This is a wonderful addition to this series and I love this world Santino has created!
