Shaney's curiosity is always getting him into trouble, including stumbling into a ritualistic circle and being imbued with an energy that will eventually tear him apart. He soon finds that Hudson, a man he cares for deeply, might be responsible for his misfortune. Add in the betrayal of his best friend Todd and the desire of a demented occultist named Silas determined to control the energy inside of him and there seems to be no way out. Can Shaney find a way to rid his body of the nefarious energy before he dies a horrible death?

Carson Locke is a Tabula Rosa vampire—a dangerous rarity in the world of vampires. With one bite, he can wipe clean a vampire’s mind, creating a mindless drone. Because of this, Carson has spent his entire twenty-three years sheltered at home. That changes, however, when his entire family is murdered. On the run and near death, Carson meets Commander Lincoln Samuels, a beautiful vampire who tries to heal him. In doing so, Carson is bonded to Lincoln and turned into something the vampire world has never seen.

Lincoln is a Sanatore vampire with the ability to heal other vampires. He heads a team in the New Vampire Justice police force in Utica, NY. Late one night, he’s called to a local Vampire Blood Market where a starving Tabula Rosa vampire is about to be executed by one of his officers. Feeling a strong connection to Carson, Lincoln wants to heal the broken man despite knowing the risk in doing so—it could destroy Lincoln and cost him the chance to love again. And he soon discovers there’s a greater evil threatening to take Carson from him.

Can two vampires who have loved and painfully lost in the past learn to trust one another, defeat the evil rising against them, and dare to love forever?

Jerricho never expected to fall in love with Rex, the sexy, construction foreman, but he did. Too bad tradition forbids Jerry from marrying for love. Prince of the clandestine Anzuni demon clan, a Baelso (bearer of children), and a virgin at twenty-four, tradition dictates that Jerry marry a man chosen for him. Despite his soul-deep love for Rex, Jerry has no choice but to follow through with his obligation as prince and marry someone he doesn’t love.

But Jerry isn’t prepared for his dominant, aggressive fiancĂ© who is interested in marrying him only for the future title of king. Facing the reality that he will lose his virginity to the cold man, Jerry flees to Rex for one night of passion. When Jerry finds himself pregnant with Rex’s baby, however, the actions of his enraged fiancĂ© release Jerry from his marriage obligation.

But just when Jerry believes he will marry for love, he and Rex are ripped away from life as they know it. Betrayals, kidnappings, cruel experiments, pregnant men, and the reappearance of the Anzuni’s greatest enemy force Jerry and Rex to fight for their lives, their love, and their unborn child...

Owen McIntyre is no stranger to the Grim Reaper. Diagnosed with leukemia at the age of fifteen, he's spent the last ten years slowly dying. With only two weeks until his next checkup, Owen’s body is already warning him that he is no longer in remission. Tired of the countless meds and chemo, not to mention the way his family coddles him, he decides to live and die on his own terms and forgo treatment. When he meets a lively college professor named Turk, conquering the man becomes part of Owen’s bucket list. But as Owen gets to know Turk, he starts to see him as more than a fling, a luxury that a dying man doesn't have.

But what if, suddenly, everything Owen knew to be true turned out to be a web of lies and deceit—even his diagnosis of cancer? Taken hostage, tied to a bed and subjected to painful experimentation, Owen's nightmare of leukemia is a far cry from the horrors he will face. No longer able to trust anyone in his life, including Turk, Owen is alone and cut off from the world. He has to make the hard decision to trust those who have betrayed him, including Turk (who he cares for deeply), or die a lonely death. With time running out, he’ll not only fight to live, but fight to want to live again, and even that might not be enough to save him from the evil that lurks inside.

INTERVIEW

Thank you so much for agreeing to be my spotlight this Saturday. You are no stranger to the in’s and out’s of this genre. I have a bunch of questions for you today. Hopefully not too painful.

Let’s start with a somewhat generic question. What made you choose writing and why MM?

I’ve been writing since a really young age. When I was younger, I wrote stories about awesome adventures. When I was a teen, I started writing poems and song lyrics. Writing helped me through some of the hard times in my life. I express myself better in written language than verbal so I tend to write a lot, even about my own thoughts and feelings.

When I was a teenager I started reading adult novels and love stories in the supernatural or horror genres. After reading Pet Sematary by Stephen King, I started writing stories along that line. In my early twenties, I wrote three novel length stories and never submitted them. I got married had kids, went to college and put off writing for about 15 years. I read a lot of books and one year my daughter bought me a Nook for Christmas. I started reading erotica and some het romance. One of the books had a shape shifting merman who was married to a woman, however when another merman came along this became a threesome. Reading about those two men together was unlike anything I’d ever read before and sent me off in search of more man on man stories. After that, it was all MM romance for me. When I finally started writing again, that’s what I wrote.

Were you ever discouraged? If so, how did it affect your creativity, and how did you overcome it?

My discouragement happened when I was younger. I wasn’t that good of a writer. I hadn’t found my niche yet. Also back then, I was insecure about my writing. I think if I had tried to get published back then and got rejected, I wouldn’t have kept going. And I would have gotten a lot of rejections, lol. Also, there weren’t many eBooks back then (yes I am old) as there were when I finally decided to go out and try to get published. It’s an easier market to break into than traditional publishing.

Where in the world would you love to go to do research for a book and why?

Good question. This avenue has opened up for me recently. In July, I took my first plane ride ever. My entire life I was afraid to fly. I was certain that I would never set foot on a plane…ever. Then as I got older something clicked, and I finally (with some help from my doctor) flew. Where would I want to go and research a book? Italy. I think Italy, as well as Italians, is very romantic and would love to base a story there.

How do you manage to stay both personal and original in your creative endeavors?

I read a lot in the genre to see what’s out there and what been done. I also talked to other authors and attend workshops and cons. I do tons of research online in areas that interest me. I love the supernatural, fantasy, magic, myths and lore. I like to use elements that are real along with elements that are made up. I am constantly collecting information from news stories, personal stories, weird occurrences, articles I’ve read, the internet, other people, etc.

I keep it personal by putting some of characters through experiences and struggles I’ve been through. I’ve lived with anxiety and depression throughout my life Readers will see some elements of this in my stories.

What do you do to get into your creative zone?

Lately that hasn’t been easy. I recently moved and my entire schedule was thrown off – external and internal. I work full time and also have a daughter and a fiancĂ© so at times it’s hard to get into that zone. Finding time to write has been hard. Generally, I can write anywhere but must have two things:

First, I need to know that I have enough time to get into that zone, which could take me anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. If I feel guilty about taking time away from someone else who might want or need it that blocks me. I usually have to agree with those around me when I can write nonstop for a long period of time.

The second thing I need are headphones and music. I have to block everything out and have something in the background to allow me to focus.

Oh and let’s add a third thing I really need—No interruptions.

What is your ultimate goal to achieve in this genre?

I’ve already achieved my ultimate goal—I got published and more than once! My only goal right now is to keep writing and keep getting published.

Can you tell us what you are currently working on?

I have a few projects happening right now. I am currently editing a story about a young man who finds out that he doesn’t have a soul. The story is about his quest to find out exactly where it is and this morphs into a fantasy/supernatural journey. This one topped out at over 112000 words. It will be submitted in the new adult category.

I am starting the second book in the New Vampire Justice Series. Those who have read the first book, will recognize Justin and Max who will be featured in this story. And yes Lincoln and Carson will be back.

What is your biggest pet peeve while writing?

Having to edit over and over and over again until I can’t stand my own words anymore.

How can your fans follow your career and books? Twitter, Facebook, website?

Here is where to find me.

And here is what I’ve published.
